Dam East Fence Replacement Program Update

The purpose of the following report is to update the residents on the progress of the Dam East Fence Replacement Committee. There are twenty-two homeowners on the committee who have been meeting monthly for the last 18 months. The committee is looking into building a masonry fence the length of Peoria and Yale similar to the Dam West’s under the City of Aurora’s Neighborhood Fence Replacement Program. The city process only allows for a masonry fence and no substitutes are allowed.

Recycle

Here is a list of what you can recycle in this area.
Single Stream: means no need to separate any of your recycling.
Newspaper, Aluminum and Steel Cans, Glass Bottles and Jars,
Plastics 1-7 (rinsed out) (including butter tubs and yogurt
containers), Magazines, Junk Mail, Copier Paper, Cardboard,
Paper Board, Shredded Paper must be put in a brown paper bag and
stapled closed so that paper does not fly out of the truck.
